Design Brief

This is where you decide on and explain which of your 3 contexts is the most feasible - which you are going to focus on for your project?

You need to show how well you understand the contexts and that the investigations you have done have helped make a clear decision.

You should include:

a clear statement of the specific problem(s) you are looking to solve and the specific improvements to the scenario you are aiming to make.

Names and Details of the primary users

Names and Details of the wider stakeholders including users and organisations who may be involved with the project. Outlining their expertise or qualifications will help to illustrate the importance of their involvement.

Information about potential problems you may encounter along the way, specific to your project/ context.

Information about particular areas/problems you might need to focus on, including areas such as Health & Safety, usability or inclusive design, main features of the design, meeting legal requirements, marketability & commercial aspects and areas where you may need input from experts.

Photographs, illustrations, videos or diagrams to clarify the focus.

An outline of your next steps.

Assessment criteria says
